Friday,  - 8:00pm. - Qualifying Heat Races and Pole Dashes in all classes. 

          Pit passes $30.  Pit gate opens at 4:00pm.

          Grandstands - Adults $12.  Kids ages 7-15 $5. Under 6 FREE!  Family pass $25.

                              Gates open at 6:00pm.

Saturday, - 8:00pm. - Last Chance Races in all classes and all 

               Bud Purkey Memorial "A" Features.

          Pit passes $30.  Pit gate opens at 4:00pm.

          Grandstands - Adults $20. Kids ages 7-15 $5. Under 6 FREE!  Family pass $45.

                          Family passes are 2 Adults and up to 6 kids ages 7-15.

 Special Announcement!  - Teen Discount Granstand Admission!

In an effort to help keep young people interested in racing and ease the strain on their parents' pocket books, we have already introduced the "Family Pass" for parents and their kids up to age 15.  Jim and I decided to take that one step further and allow Teens, ages 16-18, with a current area high school i.d. to attend the Bud Purkey Memorial for $5.00 on Friday and $10.00 on Saturday (grandstand admission only).  Sorry no coupons allowed with this offer.  This is shaping up to be a tremendous show and we want everyone to be able to attend.

Race Procedures and Payouts

Please Note That the Current Mid-America Speedway Management has neither any responsibilites nor any interest in this event!

Jim and I have leased the speedway for this weekend and are totally responsible for the purse and have total control of the event.  MLRA will pay the Late Models by check.  All other payouts will be made in CASH!  Because of this we will not be accepting checks unless you have prior approval.  We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. 

Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model rules and race procedures will apply.  Top 16 in passing points will go directly to Bud Purkey Memorial on Saturday.  Remainder will go to "B" Features also on Saturday.  Top 6 will go to Larry Shaw Race Cars / Hatfield Racing Engines Pole Dash on Friday.
